LYVEDEN_NEW_BIELD_HOUSE_5.jpg
Work on building Lyveden New Bield - an Elizabethan garden lodge house - was started in 1595 but work stopped in 1605 when the owner - Sir Thomas Tresham died. After nearly four centuries The National Trust has taken on the Elizabethan house and has spent seven years renovating it.
